01

Identify what each seller is actually offering

Collect VIN, production generation, body, original market, installed powertrain and equipment evidence for both cars through the specification guide. Determine whether the local proposal is official-market supply or another independent import. A local advertisement does not establish every manufacturer support condition. Keep original records alongside translations and resolve contradictory descriptions. Do not apply a global newer-generation portfolio to an earlier China-market candidate. The comparison must concern two presently proposed vehicles with essential suitability, not a generic local brochure car treated as perfectly equipped and healthy against an imported Q3 whose stated price lacks the same scope.

02

Screen receiving acceptance independently

Ask the responsible receiving professional about the actual vehicle and route through the export process. Retain current advice, required records and unresolved conditions without inventing universal registration or tax rules. Technical similarity to a locally available Q3 does not prove receiving eligibility. Keep seller control, export documents and destination acceptance as separate questions. Local supply can also require candidate-specific checks; it is not automatically a legal or condition guarantee. Where essential acceptance remains unresolved, a price advantage cannot close it. The meaningful comparison begins with proposals that have a supported path to the intended use rather than merely an attractive model name.

03

Confirm equipment, functions and continuing access

Demonstrate the functions that influenced the choice through the MMI and assistance review. Distinguish fitted hardware from legitimate account access, region-dependent services and future availability. Ask about language, supported operation and transferred objects without assuming that a software update makes every regional feature equivalent. For a plug-in candidate, verify actual generation and installed charging through the hybrid guide. A compatible-looking connector or translated trim name cannot establish identical systems. The local offer needs the same practical demonstration where relevant, not an assumption that its location automatically proves every advertised service continues after purchase.

04

Compare usable support rather than warranty slogans

Obtain applicable written terms and responsible provider scope through the warranty and overseas support guide. Retain eligible vehicle, owner, territory, operations and exclusions. Ask actual workshops about diagnosis and VIN-specific parts matching. Official-market supply and independent import can have different commercial arrangements, but do not presume the answer without evidence. A brand logo does not establish an obligation to repair this particular car at destination. Keep recall applicability and current remedy conditions separate from a seller warranty. Compare what the owner can actually use, not the strongest global promise taken from a different vehicle or market.

05

Compare two useful scopes before calling it a saving

Consider a China vehicle-only proposal and a local offer that includes agreed preparation and handover objects. Add the actual quoted missing operations and responsible receiving scope to the imported case, then compare essential equipment and support conditions. The apparent gap may narrow, remain useful or still be unresolvable because one candidate lacks acceptance evidence. None of those outcomes establishes a standard import saving. Retain the date and responsibility for each included item so a later quotation change does not preserve a price conclusion based on work or objects that are no longer supplied.

06

Align the complete ready-to-use amounts

Use the landed-cost guide to compare vehicle, agreed preparation, examination, transport, insurance, responsible receiving costs and exclusions on consistent boundaries. Retain dated quotations, currency and validity. A China vehicle price against a local delivered retail amount is not a like-for-like saving. Do not add taxes from memory or invent a fixed freight rate. Count included operations once and keep consequential uncertainty conditional rather than converting it into a convenient contingency. An accepted local car may justify more through useful support or reduced uncertainty; an imported proposal may offer value after its complete scope is established.

07

Preserve why the selected route is acceptable

Write the original-market configuration, current evidence, actual support terms, included work and cost boundary in the purchase schedule. Describe which differences matter to this owner and which remain unresolved. A changed VIN, destination or support arrangement reopens affected review. Neither imported nor local is universally the best route. The decision should remain coherent after assumed global warranties, generic stock promises and borrowed specification lists are removed. An accepted saving is the difference between two supported proposals, not proof that all China-market Q3 cars equal overseas versions or that an advertisement independently establishes lawful, prepared ownership.
